About the College

Dr. S.P. Singh College of Teacher Education, established in 2008 under the Kunti Shankar Educational Trust, is a leading institution dedicated to shaping the next generation of educators. Located on Areraj Road, Balganga, along State Highway 54 in Motihari, East Champaran, Bihar, the college offers a peaceful and intellectually stimulating environment across a sprawling 42-acre green campus. With a focus on academic excellence and values-based teacher training, the college is known for its strong infrastructure, modern facilities, and a student-centric approach to learning.

The college is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, under the Eastern Regional Committee, Bhubaneswar (File No. BR-S/N-35/2008/1951 dated 26th October 2009), and offers two full-time programs: the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) affiliated to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) affiliated to the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna. The B.Ed. program currently has an annual intake of 100 students.

Our campus is conveniently located just 3.5 kilometers from Bapudham Motihari Railway Station, ensuring easy accessibility by both road and rail. At Dr. S.P.
