About the School

Holy Hearts School (School and Play School & Children School), Varanasi was established in 1996 and is managed by a registered educational society. The school is situated in lush green environment in the heart of the city. It is a co-educational institution. The main aim of Holy Hearts School is the enhancement of good education and encouragement of communal harmony amongst its students. Great importance is attached to physical training, computer education and other cocurricular and extra-curricular activities so as to enable a child to develop a healthy body in addition to a healthy mind.

Holy Hearts School is one in which every stakeholder is committed to maximizing student achievement. It is a school where students, teachers, administrators and parents are working together to create a caring and exciting environment where all students are challenged to reach their full potential. We will ensure that all students will become critical, creative, self-regulated and sensitive thinkers with the skills and – knowledge necessary to become productive, contributing and caring members of society.

The mission of Holy Hearts School is to educate students so that they demonstrate high levels of academic performance and socially acceptable skills and to help students become productive members of society. The mission is best accomplished in a safe and orderly environment where daily monitoring of learning is maintained in a challenging instructional curriculum and effective home/school communications are maintained.

We are proud that our Founder – Late Dr. BR Thukral, a renowned cardiologist and a physician has been our inspiration in starting a school on the principles and guidelines laid by him. Our goal is to offer as fine an education as possible – one that results in many academic/non-academic achievements, personal accomplishments and of course lasting friendships.

As per his philosophy students should keep in mind the importance of planning and prioritizing their time and the effective use of it which are essential to achieve success. Learn to enjoy hard work – be it in extracurricular activities, sports and of course your studies. Think wisely, think systematically. Always prepare yourself for the future. Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. The future belongs to you; your need, therefore, it is important to prepare yourself for an active participation in the world. Endeavor to make yourselves good human beings and make this world of ours a better place than you find it today.

What began for us as a thatched roof school in a small room, has grown to Kindergarten through Middle School, a dream achieved and growing. The deep passion and zeal to make a difference in the lives of the children continues as the path shown to us by his sincere guidance and hard work. It is our desire to nurture children with Indian values and deep love for our culture. This encourages us to venture further into newer territories ensuring holistic development and academic excellence.
