Established: The college was established as a Vedic High School in 1917, the college now imparts education in 12 subjects at UG level, 17 subjects at PG level and undertakes research in 15 subjects for Ph.D. intending to provide quality education to students in the region, especially in the fields of arts, science, and commerce. The college has always been in an expansion mode to meet the increasing demand for vocational education. Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics are recently added self-financed vocational courses.

Affiliation: Janta Vedic College is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS University), Meerut, which is one of the major universities in Uttar Pradesh. The college follows the academic guidelines and curriculum set by the university.
Courses Offered: Arts, Agriculture, Science, Commerce, Law and Physical Education.
Undergraduate Programs: The college offers Bachelor’s degrees in subjects like Arts (BA), Commerce (BCom), Agriculture (B.Sc Ag) and Science (BSc). These courses are designed to equip students with both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Its name having “Vedic” in the middle – as if the word is engraved in its heart – seeks to remind one of the sacred Vedas as the storehouse of ancient wisdom its reflection in one’s action, speech and service to the community.
