K.V.S. believes in imparting knowledge/values to its students and nurturing their talent, enthusiasm and creativity to achieve excellence through high quality educational endeavors.
Mission and main objectives
Mission and main objectives of KVS
To meet the educational needs of the children of transferable Central Government employees including Defence and Para-Military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
To achieve excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc.
To develop the spirit of national integration and create a feeling of “Indianness” among children.
To provide, establish, support, maintain, control and manage schools, hereinafter referred to as ‘Kendriya Vidyalayas’, for the children of transferable employees of the Government of India, temporary population and others including those residing in remote and underdeveloped places in the country and to do all acts and things necessary to promote such schools.
