The dreams of Seth Anandram Jaipuria, , a visionary philanthropist , took concrete shape and became a reality when the foundation was laid by our Late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi on 13th September, 1966. The school became fully operational after the inauguration done by our Late President Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad on 26th October, 1974.

The school was set up with a mission to nurture children who would grow as balanced human beings by inculcating in them healthy habits through constant care and enabling them to acquire sporting temperament, thereby growing equally in body mind and spirit.

Keeping the above principles and aims in mind the school work was divided under these headings:

The history of the Jaipuria Group goes back to 1945 when Seth Anandram Jaipuria Commerce College was launched in Calcutta with the vision to empower India’s youth with quality education. The college was inaugurated by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and is operational to this day. In 1974, the group forayed into K12 education with the inception of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School in Kanpur. Then Prime Minister, Smt. Indira Gandhi laid the school’s foundation stone and former President of India, Sh. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed inaugurated the school. Over the years, the group has grown and expanded by leaps and bounds to evolve into a conglomerate with the strength of many K12 schools, management institutions, preschools and a teachers training academy.
