About the College

Gokhale Education Society’s one of the well-known college viz B.Y.K. College of Commerce was established in 1957, which has completed 50 years of its contribution to the cause of Commerce and Management education. The past students of B.Y.K.College of Commerce have contributed substantially for starting new institution in the name of Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi.

In the present times there is a huge scope and demand for B.Com degree courses as more number of students are passing XII examination as well as there are more career opportunities available to commerce students. As a result of the long tradition of academic excellence and good image of Gokhale Education Society, many students are inspired to seek admission in Gokhale Education Society’s colleges. Therefore on the occasion of the completing 50 years of Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi’s dedicated and innovative contribution to the field of Commerce and Management in India, Gokhale Education Society has led the foundation of a new commerce college in the Nashik campus, which is proudly named as Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi College of Commerce with effect from the academic year 2009-2010. The Society has provided the area of 10000 sq.ft (appox) with fully equipped library, computer lab and other infrastructural facilities. With the glorious tradition and the unique track record of Gokhale Education Society, Sir Dr. M. S. Gosavi College of Commerce, Nashik will certainly add a new dimension in making commerce & management education more meaningful.
