About the School
Carmel School, Chamba, Uttarakhand, is an unaided English Medium Christian Minority Co-Educational Institution affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) New Delhi. This institution is run by St. John’s Society, Bijnor and administered by St. John’s Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) Congregation. The school was established on 16th July 1996 and is registered under the society’s registration act 1860, as applicable in Uttarpradesh. Carmel School is open to all students irrespective of caste and creed. Being a catholic CMI educational institution, it aims at forming children who are intellectually competent, spiritually oriented, morally upright, socially mature, emotionally balanced, noble in behavior and who will champion the cause of justice, love, truth, peace and ever open to further growth to bring about a just society.
