About the College
Sri Laxmi Kishori College (SLK College) is a renowned institution of higher education located in Sitamarhi, Bihar, India. Established on October 20, 1970, by the late Kishori Lal Sah, the college was named combinedly in the honor of his brother, the late Laxmi Sah. The founding vision was to make higher education accessible to marginalized and underserved sections of society.
In 1980, SLK College became a constituent unit of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur. This affiliation facilitated significant academic growth and development. Today, the college offers undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce, providing education to students from the local region as well as neighboring areas.
