About the School

Shree Kali Devi Vidya Mandir, Hansi is an English medium, co-educational, senior secondary school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for its All India Secondary and Senior School Certificate Examinations. The school has two streams of faculties SCIENCE & COMMERCE at +2 level.

The school was founded by Shree Kali Devi Vidya Mandir Society, Hansi under the enlightened guidance of visionary President Sh. Hanuman Das Singla, in 1991 upto class II with the strength of 72 students in the Mandir premises. A great contribution, dedication and creativeness of staff members, local dignitaries, spontaneous involvement of the parents in educational endeavor, the deep sense of belongingness on part of the students and well wishers and encouragement extended by the CBSE have made the school an educational nursery where seeds sprout, grow and blossom.

The school shifted to its new location at Model Town in the year 2000. The school has elegantly designed, attractive and aesthetically pleasing building. What had begun as a mere thought has grown grow into a huge institution with a strength over 2400 students having 80 class rooms, 4 halls, 8 laboratories, library, smart classrooms, separate splendid junior wing, play ground, staff rooms, administrative block & spacious parking for school transport.
The class rooms are spacious, well ventilated and fully lighted. Comfortable furniture, glass boards, magnetic marker boards and display board of latest design have been provided in all the class-rooms.
The halls are perfectly designed for Yoga, Recreation, Dance, Music, Art & Craft and Indoor games.
The laboratories are well equipped with electricity plugged space, gas burner, microscope, shapes and mathematical models, multimedia kit with internet facility provided to individual students respectively in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer laboratories separate for junior and senior wing.
The library computerized with a large number of books on different subjects along with invaluable reference books and encyclopedia. A good number of newspapers, magazines and journals, both national and international are subscribed to.
The play ground has sufficient space for Basketball, Kho-Kho, Hand ball, Badminton and Athletics.
The staff rooms are luxuriously furnished including individual lockers and comfortable seating arrangement.
The administrative block is well equipped, computerized & fully A/C.
A well maintained fleet of buses are meant for transporting students from their homes and back to their destination as well as taking them to picnics and tours.
There is yet a lot to achieve. There are miles to go before we sleep. We do not believe in reclining against a wall or relaxing but we believe in toiling day and night to make the stay of children in school highly fruitful.

The School has well-qualified, experienced and innovative galaxy of teachers. Innovative methods of teaching are constantly used to make teaching more meaningful and interesting. The students are frequently tested and the results are used as a feed back for further improvement in teaching. Comprehensive record of students progress is maintained by continuous evaluation.
