About the School

Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.
St. Mary’s English Medium School budded out in the year 2008 with the K.G. Classes. It is a minority Institute of Education, managed by Mary salian Society of Raipur.

It is run by the religious congregation of Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (SMMI) St. Mary’s English Medium School takes its name from its Patroness “Mary Mother of Jesus ” Education of the poor and illiterate was one of the visions of the founders of the society, a French Missionary, Sister Marie Gertrude who came to India in 1889.

The first school of the society was founded in 1907 in Nagpur and has successfully completed its 100 golden years of service. Many other schools of the society are rendering their services in the length and width of the country.
Each child is endowed with a unique potential – an infinite one.
Our pedagogy, is designed to help the child realize their unique abilities in a systematic, and self-paced manner.

> Legacy
We value our commitment towards quality child education along with complementing aspects of self-reliance, peer interaction, and individual growth. In this process, we created a solid foundation in curriculum.

> Our Vision
Our goal is to respond to the call of creating the emerging leaders of tomorrow. We are committed to impacting a synergy of skills, knowledge, and values in our children to lend them their inner voice for the 21st century.

> Our Mission
We envision today’s children as tomorrow’s leadership icons. We have impacted a milestone departure from the teacher-led to the child-centric. Our learning environment enables each child to realize their unique learning style, while our good teacher helps them discover their own creative and aesthetic potential.

> Our Philosophy
For us, the human rights of a child are non-negotiable. Driven by our ethos of “What’s Right for the Child” (WRFC), we place the human rights of a child at a premium. The right to trust, the right to gain respect, and the right to live in an abuse-free world is what shapes our fundamental cult and ethos.
