About the School
The organisation, ARUNACHAL PALI VIDYAPITH SOCIETY is a forerunner registered NGO headquartered at Chongkham. It was established in 1978 to work for the welfare of the people in Arunachal Pradesh in tune with highly felt need of the remote inhabitant tribal people having distinct ethnic identity with attractive traditions and rich cultural heritage, with a view to serve the common needs and aspirations such as education, healthcare facilities, preservation of indigenous cultural heritage, social-harmony and socio-economic development.
VISION
The beautiful state of Arunachal Pradesh has every potential for its growth into a developed state. However, it must be ensured that its people are sufficiently facilitated with amenities, other need-based requirements, creating avenues and scope for growth and development. So in our vision we foresee a peaceful progressive state, Arunachal Pradesh where colourful people from different tribal communities reap the benefits of modern educational, scientific, social and economic development while preserving the best of their eco-cultural heritage thereby contributing towards national development.
MISSION
The main mission of the organisation is establishment of educational institutions to provide free education to deprived children, provision of basic amenities and necessary facilities based on requirement, awareness generation in the field of health & family welfare, religious tolerance, social and communal harmony besides developing plans and programmes for sustainable economic growth while fighting to uproot all evil practices prevalent in tribal societies to bring them at par to other developed societies.
MISSION STATEMENT
The school aims to prepare children to develop them into complete and successful individuals through right education. It aims to inculcate deep moral values I the children so that they emerge as persons with strong characteristics with healthy attitude infused with sense of social responsibilities so that they remain successful in every sphere of life and in turn contribute their best towards the society.
A. PROJECT RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL
The name and style of the school Arunachal Pali Vidyapith derives its name from its parent organisation,Arunachal Pali Vidyapith Society and envisaged as a centre of Pali language learning sinceits inception in 1979. Keeping in mind the modern needs of the common mass,it was further reorganised into a regular residential school in 1994.Subsequently, the organisation approached the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India which have been consecutively releasing grants-in-aid since 1998-99.
