About the School

Adarsh Model Sen Sec School is one of the oldest and historical school places in the district . This institution was started in May 1952 as a Baby school in Deewankhana building of erstwhile Jind state only with 20 students in nursery class. Since then the institution has taken long and rapid strides on the road to progress and the alumni on the rolls of this school have multiplied over forty times. Started as a kindergarten school,. It has now fully developed now into a full fledged Co- educational Senior Secondary School with Science, Commerce, Vocational and Humanities groups.

School’s emphasis has been on character building, discipline and quality education so the produce better citizens for the Universe. Many of school’s old alumni are serving the society in many capacities, some of them have achieved higher ranks in the Govt, Political and business.

With the passage of times the school was shifted to its new building, near Ranbir club, Sangrur. Shri Prem Goyal made a remarkable progress in every sphere. He put his heart and soul to work for the development of the school and the present building is the reflect of his image. He realized that the children who are the wealth of the Nation must inculcate sound habits, broader outlook and healthy goodwill. Shri Dinesh Goyal the President is working on the legacy of his respected father and making untiring efforts for raising the standard of this institution.

The Dreams of Mr. Prem Goyal are being realized and fulfill with the rise of Adarsh (Model) Senior Secondary School as a model institute in the Sangrur district. The institution is marching day by day from victory to victory and triumph to triumph.
