About the School

Don Bosco was born on 16th August 1815. He began to teach Catechism at the age of 5 and receive his first Holy Communion at the age of 11. He entered Seminary at 20 and become a Priest when he was 26 years old and after completing his work on earth he became one with Christ and died at the age of 72. His most cherished dreams was to destroy sin and make God known, served, adored and loved by everyone and in every place. “He was an exemplary Teacher” and is hailed as one of the greatest teachers of his time, he developed teaching methods based on love. He taught his Students to face hard times with courage, fortitude and trust in God.

He was very intelligent, courageous and warm hearted with lively personality that allowed him to infuse Life and Love in all his students. He taught his students to be courageous and fearless, his famous saying was “If you wish to do something most pleasing to God help in the Education of the young”. Don Bosco cherished desire while he was on earth was to destroy sin, make God known, served, adored and loved more and more by everyone. Don Bosco died on 31st January 1888 at the age of 72 years. He was canonized by Pope Pius XI on 1st April 1934.
The foundation stone of the School Building was laid by his lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Federick D’Souza Bishop of Jhansi and Inaugurated by him on 21st Feb 1994. Don Bosco College is a day, co-ed, minority, private Institution conducting classes from Nursery to 12th offering subjects like Science, Mathematics, Commerce and Humanities. It is affiliated to “The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination” New Delhi.

Mrs. Amelia James is the founder, owner, Principal of this Institution under her able guidance the school has completed 25 successful years (2018-2019) of service to the society thereby helping in the noble cause of Education.

The Institution encourages, promotes and nurtures the potential of all the children who enters its portals by providing them with the necessary environment for the optimum growth of the Physical, spiritual, Mental, Emotional and Psychological abilities so as to enable them to go out into the world as courageous and confident young men and women.

The Institution has a very enterprising and well qualified management who work round the clock to promote efficiency and development along with a team of dedicated experienced and vigilant faculty members who have succeeded in inculcating an overall development even in slow learners. Each day is considered as a healthy challenge for all the staff members as they are advice to inspire each student to give out the best and make use of the talents God has bestowed each one with specially the Girl child as she is considered to be the pillar of society. The educators have shown our students their potential and given them a preview of the endless possibilities that will support them in thinking positively about anything that they face in life.
