VSPS- Civil Lines is fully aware of these challenges and have geared up to align to international standards by adopting the latest pedagogy, teaching aids and methodology. Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Trust (VSMT), established in 1981, is a Kanpur-based public charitable organization. Founded by noted educationist and philanthropist Shri Ragendra Swarup in the cherished memory of illustrious parliamentarian and chairman of Upper House in U.P. -Dr. Virendra Swarup, VSMT is one of the largest educational trusts of North India. It runs successfully a number of prestigious institutions in different cities. All its trustees have a proven track record in the field of education. They are also on the board of management of D.A.V. Colleges in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. All the institutions of the trust are known for producing toppers and excellent results in board and university exams.
Sri Ragendra Swarup was an eminent and towering figure in the educational sphere who dedicated his life to the noble cause of spreading quality education by establishing premier university and pre-university level educational institutions throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh under the banner of Dr. Virendra Swarup Memorial Trust.

Being a philanthropist, his genuine concern and magnanimity towards the masses made him dear to all the hearts. His name and commendable deeds shall be cherished in high spirits by one and all.
