About the School

St. Mary’s Convent School, Bhopal under the Management of the poor Sisters of Our lady, was founded in July 1982. The School educates girls and boys from K.G. I to std xii. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.

The aim of the school is to train students to work intelligently at the subject matter of the standard they are placed in and currently to develop in them the various habits which their future life as upright citizens demands of them. The School provides all-around education to the students by promoting various fields of interest such as games, sports, music, and singing, elocutions and dramatics, outing and excursions, etc. Much emphasis is given to religious and moral instructions. The school lays much emphasis on character formation based on the love of God and the service of men.

Our School motto is LIVE FOR LOVE . The Lily within our school emblem stands for “Purity Mary”, Mother of Jesus lived for love throughout her life, even experiencing the suffering of her son with love. All this was crowned with Glory when Jesus rose from the dead. Only through pure Hard Work and selfless giving can true knowledge be attained.
