International Collaborations

VGS believes in bringing the best of international educational pedagogies to its scholars to help them become competent at the global level. The school’s international collaborations offer a wealth of opportunities for its students and educators to expand their horizons, gain global perspectives and enhance their learning experiences.

Cultural Exchange Programmes with Germany and Canada

The Venkateshwar Global School has cultural exchange programs with schools in Germany and Canada as a part of its global outreach initiative. Students get the opportunity to visit each other for cultural and educational exchange. They work in partnership on stimulating projects to gain global perspectives.

VGS is a SCORA (Schools Opposing Racism and Anti Semitism) member

The SCORA MEET is a global platform for young learners to discuss and deliberate on topical issues such as racism and anti semitism. Students of different nations come together and shape a culture in which diversity and differences are welcomed and understood as enrichment. The core group consists of four nations viz. USA, Israel, Germany and India, with more countries joining the group in the near future.

VGS is the only school that has been selected from India to participate in this prestigious event and it is now a permanent member of the SCORA students’ conference. VGS Rohini is all set to host the SCORA Meet in India in 2025. By providing this platform, VGS seeks to empower participants to explore solutions, nurture mutual understanding and promote inclusivity.

Immersive Programs

VGS’ Immersive Programs involve international educational trips that provide the participants—students and teachers—with deeply engaging, hands-on and interactive experiences with the host nation. The school has organized several immersive programs with countries like United Kingdom, USA (NASA), South Korea, Singapore, Thailand etc. The immersive nature of these visits helps the Venkateshwarians gain a more profound understanding of a subject or culture by actively experiencing and engaging with it.

Host to International Delegations

VGS has hosted international delegations from USA, UK, China, Germany and Japan who were on a study tour of the education system in India.

Online collaborations

VGS regularly conducts online international collaborations that help its students and educators to engage in cross border learning and communication with peers from different countries, exposing them to new cultures, languages and perspectives. Through video calls and SKYPE sessions, the young Venkateshwarians collaborate on projects with their international counterparts in Japan, Germany etc. enriching their understanding of various subjects.

Teachers’ Collaborations

VGS’ teachers exchange programs and collaborations aim at giving educators, the opportunity to experience different cultures, teaching methods and educational systems. This broadens their understanding of the world and helps them bring a more global perspective into their classrooms.

The School Principal, Dr Namita Singhal, visited Taiwan on a teachers’ cultural and educational exchange program. She is also a Senior Educator in the International Educators’ Network. VGS has been a partner school in the British Council’s prestigious 3 year UKIERI (United Kingdom India Education Research Initiative) teacher exchange programme with Wales as well as a teachers’ exchange program with Seminar Stuttgart- State Department of Teaching and Teacher Education, Stuttgart, Germany.
