About the College

Babu Shivnath Agrawal (PG) College, Mathura (बी.एस.ए. स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय, मथुरा) भगवान श्री कृष्ण की जन्म स्थली से लगभग एक किलोमीटर, बस स्टैंड से 500 मीटर, रेलवे स्टेशन से एक किलोमीटर दूर एवं मथुरा शहर के बीचों बीच स्थित है। बी.एस.ए. कॉलेज में सन् 1958 में प्रथम बार महाविद्यालय को बी.एस.सी. भौतिक विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान एवं गणित के साथ कालान्तर में विभिन्न विषयों में एम.एस.सी., एल.एल.बी., बी.ए., एम.ए., बी.एड., सहित अन्य विषयों को भी Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra (आगरा विश्वविद्यालय आगरा) से सम्बद्धता प्राप्त हुई, तब से आज तक विभिन्न पाठ्यक्रम महाविद्यालय में संचालित हो रहे हैं। वर्तमान में बी.एस.ए. स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय में स्नातक पाठ्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत बी.ए., बी.एस.सी., बी.कॉम., एल.एल.बी., बी.ए.एलएल.बी., बी.बी.ए., बी.एड., बी.सी.ए.एवं बी.पी.ई.एस. स्नातकोत्तर पाठ्यक्रम के अन्तर्गत एम.ए., (समाजशास्त्र, संस्कृत, हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, भूगोल, राजनीति विज्ञान, अर्थशास्त्र), एम.एस.सी. (भौतिक विज्ञान, रसायन विज्ञान, गणित, वनस्पति विज्ञान, जन्तु विज्ञान, स्टेटिस्टिक्स, माइक्रोबायोलॉजी), एम.कॉम., एम.एड, आदि पाठ्यक्रम संचालित हैं।

महाविद्यालय में राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप अध्ययन कक्षों की उचित व्यवस्था, सभी संसाधनों से युक्त प्रयोगशालाऐं, कंप्यूटर प्रयोगशाला की व्यवस्था, नई शिक्षा नीति 2020 के क्रियान्वयन हेतु सभी संसाधनों की व्यवस्था महाविद्यालय में कराई जा चुकी हैं। अध्यापन हेतु विद्वान प्राध्यापक, प्रशिक्षित प्रयोगशाला सहायक कार्यरत हैं। महाविद्यालय में पठन पाठन हेतु उचित व्यवस्था है तथा छात्र छात्राओं के लिए महाविद्यालय के केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय में पाठ्यक्रम से सम्बन्धित सामान्य ज्ञान, छात्रों के ज्ञानवर्धन हेतु समाचार पत्र-पत्रिकायें महाविद्यालय में उपलब्ध हैं। महाविद्यालय में पाठ्यक्रम सम्बन्धी क्रिया कलापों के अतिरिक्त विभिन्न प्रकार की पाठ्य सहगामी क्रियाएं जैसे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, सेमिनार, वर्कशॉप, बाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता, विचार गोष्ठी, प्रश्न मंच, विभिन्न महापुरूषों के जन्मदिवस, सामाजिक उत्सव आदि आयोजित किए जाते हैं।
