HUMBLE BEGINNING
Dehradun Public School (DDPS) started in 1983 in Ashok Nagar, Ghaziabad, with just 10 rooms and a founding batch of 20 students. Today, we have grown into four thriving campuses with over 9,000 students from Primary to Class 12. Rooted in our dual mission of education and public service, we have always welcomed every child, regardless of challenges. Unlike the prestigious histories of ‘global schools,’ our journey is one of resilience, inclusion, and unwavering commitment to learning.

Our philosophy of “education for all” stems from the vision of our revered founder, Late Shri Jai Prakash Bansal. A civil engineer by profession, he was deeply inspired by the educational culture of Dehradun, where he was posted. Motivated to bring the same excellence to his hometown, Ghaziabad, he established Dehradun Public School—a place where quality education is accessible to all, free from bias or prejudice.
